Conduct of the signature device holder

A signature device holder shall —
exercise reasonable care to avoid unauthorised use of its signature device;
without undue delay, notify any person who may reasonably be expected by the signature device holder to rely on or to provide services in support of the electronic signature if —
the signature device holder knows that the signature device has been compromised; or
the circumstances known to the signature device holder give rise to a substantial risk that the signature device may have been compromised; and
where a certificate is used to support the electronic signature, exercise reasonable care to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all material representations made by the signature device holder, which are relevant to the certificate throughout its life-cycle, or which are to be included in the certificate.
