Maximum rate of gratuity

The Governor may, by regulations, prescribe the maximum rate of gratuity that may be charged by service employers.
For the avoidance of doubt, it is declared that the fact that a rate of gratuity is prescribed under subsection (1) or that an account rendered includes a gratuity does not imply that the customer is obliged to pay that gratuity amount.
