Certificate of good standing

The Registrar may on application made by —
an exempted limited partnership; or
a foreign limited partnership registered under section 42 , issue a certificate of good standing to the exempted limited partnership or the foreign limited partnership that is in good standing in accordance with subsection
. ( 2 ) A certificate of good standing is evidence of the fact that the exempted limited partnership is in good standing on the date that the certificate of good standing is issued.
An exempted limited partnership is deemed to be in good standing if all fees and penalties under this Act have been paid and the Registrar has no knowledge that the exempted limited partnership is in default under this Act .
