Where an application is made to a public authority for access to a record which contains exempt matter, the authority shall grant access to a copy of the record with the exempt matter deleted therefrom.
A public authority which grants access to a copy of a record in accordance with this section shall inform the applicant —
that it is such a copy; and
of the statutory provision by virtue of which such deleted matter is exempt matter.
