Should any question arise as to the date of hiring or as to whether or in what amount severance pay is due to an employee, then the employee, or the employer, or their respective representatives, may seek a resolution of the question by filing a complaint as to severance pay in writing with the Director.
Should the question involve a group of employees under similar circumstances they may file a joint complaint.
Should there be filed at or about the same time a number of complaints raising the same or substantially similar issues, the Director may direct that they be consolidated into a single proceeding.
