Management of the Fund

Pursuant to this Law, the Council shall advise the Cabinet on the use of the Fund and shall be responsible for the management of monies disbursed from the Fund to carry out any of the activities required to give effect to the purposes of the Fund as directed by the Cabinet.
The annual report of the Council shall include an account of activities funded in whole or in part by monies from the Fund.
Recommendations for funding shall be submitted by the Council to the Ministry as part of the normal budget process.
The Council shall enter into agreements with the Department, other government entities, non-governmental organisations or other persons to carry out any of the activities required to give effect to the purposes of the Fund.
Payment for activities specified under subsection (4) shall be made by the Ministry on the direction of the Council.
The Council shall periodically review the activities and the result of these reviews shall be included in the annual report of the Council.
