Order for correction

The Director, in the circumstances mentioned in subsection (2), may order an administrator to take the action specified in subsection (3).
The Director may make an order under this section where the Director is of the opinion that —
the assumptions or methods used by the administrator in the preparation of a report required under this Act or regulations in respect of a pension plan are inappropriate for a pension plan;
the assumptions or methods used in the preparation of a report required under this Act or regulations in respect of a pension plan do not accord with accepted actuarial principles or such other requirements as may be prescribed; or
a report submitted in respect of a pension plan does not meet the requirements of this Act, the regulations or the pension plan.
An order under this section may include, but is not limited to, requiring the preparation of a new report and specifying the assumptions or methods or both that shall be used in the preparation of the new report.
