Refusal or revocation of registration

15. (1) The Director shall refuse to register a pension plan or an amendment to a pension plan which does not comply with this Act.
The Director may revoke the registration of a pension plan which is not being administered in accordance with this Act.
The authority of the Director under subsection (1) or (2) is subject to the right to a hearing under section 72 of a person affected by the Director’s decision.
An amendment to a pension plan terminates on the date the Director revokes the registration of the amendment.
Where the Director refuses to register a pension plan or revokes the registration of a plan, the administrator shall wind up the pension plan in accordance with this Act and the regulations.
