Lost property to be restored

Where a claim is made to police property and the Commissioner is satisfied that the claimant is the true owner of that property, the property shall be restored to the owner.
The rejection by the Commissioner of a claim to police property shall not operate as a bar to recovery of that property by the claimant by court process.
