Regulations

The Cabinet may make regulations prescribing —
locations and designations of postal and money order offices;
the internal management of the Post Office;
opening hours of Post Offices;
times for the postage and collection of postal packages;
methods of posting and delivering postal packages;
parcel post regulations;
what may and may not be transmitted through the Post Office;
dimensions and classifications of postal packages;
conditions of registration and insurance of postal packages;
redirection of postal packages;
disposal of unclaimed postal packages;
customs clearance of postal packages;
the acceptance of unaddressed mail;
the mode of sale of postage and revenue stamps;
the mode of issue and encashment of money orders;
compensation for loss of postal packages in course of post;
withdrawal of any issue of postage or revenue stamps;
for compliance with the Convention and other international agreements;
conditions of employment of officers; and
anything required or authorised to be prescribed by this Act.
