The functions of the Board are —

the consideration of every application for a permit made in accordance with this Act;

the grant, renewal, suspension, amendment, revocation or refusal of a permit in accordance with this Act;

the enforcement of compliance with the provisions of this Act;

carrying out policy instructions of the Cabinet as given pursuant to section 7; and

such other functions as may be conferred upon the Board by this Act or any other law.
