Maintenance of boundary features

Every proprietor of land shall maintain in good order any feature which demarcate his boundaries, whether established pursuant to the requirements of any other law or pursuant to an order of the Registrar or of the proprietor's own accord.
The Registrar may, in writing, order the demarcation within a specified time of any boundary in such permanent manner as he may direct, and whoever, fails to comply with such an order is guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to a fine of fifty dollars.
The Registrar may, in writing, order which of adjoining proprietors shall be responsible for the care and maintenance of any feature demarcating a common boundary, and any proprietor so ordered to be responsible who allows the boundary feature or any part of it to fall into disrepair or to be destroyed or removed is guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to a fine of fifty dollars.
