A person who is being or has been stalked by another person may institute civil proceedings in order to claim damages for any —
anxiety or distress caused by the stalking;
financial loss resulting from the stalking;
harm resulting from the stalking; or
other matter which the court believes justifies an award of damages.
A person who has been the subject of frivolous or vexatious proceedings involving allegations of stalking may institute civil proceedings in order to claim damages for any —
anxiety or distress caused by the stalking;
financial loss resulting from the stalking;
harm resulting from the stalking; or
other matter which the court believes justifies an award of damages.
