Investigating officers

In carrying out its function under this Act, the Commission may appoint an investigating officer to conduct an enquiry into any alleged or suspected breaches of standards under this Act and wherever in this Act a provision is expressed as allowing the Commission to do anything, that provision shall be construed as allowing an investigating officer to do it.
