Application of the Traffic Act (2021 Revision) to Coast Guard vehicles

26. While engaged upon its duties, a Coast Guard vehicle shall be deemed to be an emergency vehicle, as defined under section 2 of the Traffic Act (2021 Revision), and —
that Act and the regulations made under that Act in relation to emergency vehicles; and
any offences and penalties under that Act or under regulations made under that Act in relation to emergency vehicles, shall apply, with any necessary modifications, to Coast Guard vehicles.
