Information may be recorded and sent by electronic means

32. (1) For the purposes of this Act, and any regulations made under this Act, where a person is required to, in writing or in written form —

give notice or permission;

make a request; or

provide any information, the notice, permission, request or other information may be recorded in electronic form and sent by electronic means.

For the purposes of this section, “electronic” has the meaning assigned by section 2 of the Electronic Transactions Act (2003 Revision).
