Application for the issuance, renewal or replacement of Cayman Islands Identification Card

An eligible individual may apply to the Registrar for the issuance of a Cayman Islands Identification Card by submitting an application which shall be —
in the form and manner determined by the Registrar, whether in person or online, or both; and
accompanied by the relevant fee as may be prescribed.
For the purposes of subsection (1), the Registrar may require an individual who applies for the issuance of a Cayman Islands Identification Card ("the applicant") to —
appear in person before the Registrar;
be photographed;
provide the individual's signature; or
provide such further information as may be requested by the Registrar.
An individual who wishes to withdraw an application submitted under subsection (1) may notify the Registrar of the individual's intention in such manner as the Registrar may determine.
