Proceedings for any offence under this Law (including an offence under any other law as applied by or under this Law) and anything which is an offence under section 5(1) may be taken, and such offence may, for all incidental purposes, be treated as having been committed in the Islands.
Where a body corporate is guilty of such an offence and the offence is proved to have been committed with the consent or connivance of, or to be attributable to any neglect on the part of, any director, manager, secretary or other similar officer of the body corporate or any person who was purporting to act in any such capacity he, as well as the body corporate, is guilty of the offence and liable to be proceeded against and punished accordingly.
In subsection (2) — "director" in relation to any statutory corporation, the affairs of which are managed by its members, means a member of that corporation.
