Discretion of Chief Immigration Officer and duty of persons arriving in the Islands

The Chief Immigration Officer, in his discretion, shall determine which arriving vessels are to be met by an immigration officer, and it is the duty of every person in or on every vessel so met to report to an immigration officer.
Where an immigration officer boards the vessel before disembarkation the report referred to in subsection (1) shall be made to that immigration officer, but where no such immigration officer boards the vessel, the report shall be made upon disembarking.
