Duty of local agent of vessel to give notice of arrival

It is the duty of the local agent of every vessel arriving in the Islands to give adequate and timely notification of the arrival of the vessel to the Chief Immigration Officer or to any immigration officer designated by the Chief Immigration Officer in that behalf, and, if required, to furnish such particulars as he may then have in his possession regarding the passengers or crew on board such vessel.
A person who fails to comply with subsection (1), or with any requirement duly given thereunder, commits an offence.
