Power to revoke prospecting rights, etc., in cases of fraud, etc.

10. Where any prospecting right, licence or mining lease has been granted in pursuance of this Law and subsequently the Governor is satisfied that such grant has been obtained as a result of any misleading, false or fraudulent representation, or in consequence of any incorrect information (whether such information be supplied wilfully or otherwise), the Governor may call upon the holder of such right, licence or lease to show cause within a specified time why such right, licence or lease should not be revoked; and if he fails to comply with such order within the time specified or if the cause shown be inadequate in the opinion of the Governor, such right, licence or lease may thereupon be revoked by the Governor, notice of such fact shall be published in the Gazette and a copy of such notice shall be sent to the holder at his last known address.
