Neither the Ombudsman, any Deputy Ombudsman, any person employed, engaged or appointed by the Ombudsman nor any person delegated any function under this Act or any scheduled Act, shall be liable in damages for anything done or omitted in the discharge of their respective functions unless it is shown that the act or omission was negligent or in bad faith.
