Application of the proceeds of sale

The proceeds of any sale under section 24 shall be applied by the Authority as follows, and in the following order of payment —
to customs duty;
to expenses of sale;
to dues to the Authority in respect thereof;
to freight and other allowable claims of which notice has been received by the Director;
to the owner, if traceable within one year; or
to the funds of the Authority.
