Liability of employees

An employee of a public authority shall not be liable in damages for anything done or omitted in the discharge of that employee's functions or duties unless it is shown that the act or omission was negligent or in bad faith.
Notwithstanding subsection (1), where the function or duty exercised is, where applicable, regulatory, monetary, co-operative or advisory, the provision relating to negligence shall not apply.
