The Deputy Chair

The non-executive members shall elect one of the other non-executive members as the Deputy Chair who having been elected shall serve for the duration of the term as a non-executive member.
The Deputy Chair shall not be the Speaker or a member of the Cayman Islands Parliament or a public officer.
The Deputy Chair may carry out the functions of the Chair, in such cases and manner as may be determined by or in accordance with any directions given by the Chair; and the Deputy Chair shall, in the absence of the Chair, perform the functions of the Chair as required.
Three or more of the Members may require the Deputy Chair to call a Board meeting if they have requested that the Chair call such a meeting and the Chair has not done so within a reasonable period of time.
