Revocation of appointments

The Cabinet shall terminate the appointment of any Member who —
resigns the office;
has been adjudged bankrupt;
is convicted in the Islands or elsewhere of any offence involving dishonesty or fraud or any other offence that, in the opinion of the Cabinet, is likely to bring the Office into disrepute;
has been absent from three consecutive meetings of the Board without the consent of the Chair;
fails to comply with obligations under section 24; or
is otherwise unable or unfit to discharge the functions of a Member.
Where any Member ceases to be a Member before the normal expiration of the Member's term in office, the Cabinet in accordance with this Act, may appoint another person to hold that office until the time that the Member's term in office would have expired.
