Amendment of register on order

24. (1) The Registrar shall remove the name of a person who is a member or licensed under this Act from the register —
upon the application of the person;
upon the failure of the person to pay any prescribed annual fee within nine months after the date on which the fee becomes payable; or
upon the taking effect of an order of the Disciplinary Tribunal under section 21(7)(a) in relation to that person.
Where a matter concerning a member is referred to the Investigation Committee or the Disciplinary Tribunal under section 19(1) or (2), the member’s name shall not be removed from the register under section 21(7)(a) until the matter or any appeal in relation thereto, has been finally disposed of under this Act.
Where the name of a person has been removed from the register a licence issued to the person shall cease to be valid.
