False certificates by public officers or by members of the Cayman Islands Parliament

A public officer or a member of the Cayman Islands Parliament who is authorised or required by law to give any certificate relating to any matter by virtue whereof the rights of any person may be prejudicially affected, gives a certificate which is, to that public officer's knowledge, false in any material particular, commits an offence.
