56. (1) Except as otherwise indicated, this Part applies to all workplaces.
The Cabinet may, by regulations, extend the application of this Part to such installations or operations as may not be within the definition of “workplace”, but to which it appears reasonable to extend it.
Except where otherwise expressly provided, this Part shall be in addition to, and not in substitution for or diminution of, any other law and of the common law.
