59. For the purpose of safeguarding the health of persons employed or performing any duty therein, the operator of every workplace shall —
keep it in a clean state;
keep it from becoming overcrowded;
maintain a reasonable temperature therein appropriate to the type of work being performed;
provide adequate ventilation therein;
provide adequate lighting therein;
provide, where appropriate, effective means for draining floors; and
provide suitable and sufficient sanitary conveniences.
