A person transferred under subsection (1) shall be deemed to be in lawful custody during such transfer and during the period in which he is in the United States, and such time shall count for all purposes under the laws of the Islands as if he had been in custody in the Islands.
A person who is in lawful custody in the United States and who is transferred to the Islands under Article 11 shall be deemed to be in lawful custody during such transfer and during the period in which he is in the Islands.
