Immunity from legal proceedings

No civil or criminal proceedings may be instituted against any member for words spoken before, or written in a report to, the Parliament of which that person is a member or to a committee thereof or by reason of any matter or thing brought by that person therein by petition, bill, resolution, motion or otherwise, nor shall any such proceedings be instituted against any person in respect of such words broadcast or re-broadcast by any broadcasting station licensed under the Information and Communications Technology Authority Act (2011 Revision), or wholly owned by the Government of the Islands.
