136. A person who —
procures or attempts to procure any person, to become either in the Islands or elsewhere a common prostitute; or
procures or attempts to procure any person to leave their usual place of abode in the Islands with intent that that person may, for the purpose of prostitution become an inmate of or frequent a brothel in the Islands or elsewhere, commits an offence: Provided that no person shall be convicted of such offence upon the evidence of one witness only, unless such witness be corroborated in some material particular by evidence implicating the accused.
