Offence where no special penalty provided

For every misdemeanour, or other offence against this Law, for which no special penalty is hereinbefore appointed, the offender, at the discretion of the Justices before whom the conviction takes place, is liable to a fine of thirty dollars or imprisonment for one month: Provided always, that nothing herein contained shall be construed to prevent any person from being indicted for any indictable offence made punishable on summary conviction by this Law or to prevent any person from being liable under any other law or laws to any other penalty or punishment than is provided for such offence by this Law, so, nevertheless, that no person be punished twice for the same offence.
