Power to suspend order

104. (1) A court which makes an order disqualifying a person from driving may, if it thinks fit, suspend the disqualification pending an appeal against the order.
Where a person appeals against an order of a court disqualifying that person from driving and the disqualification is suspended under subsection (1), the period of disqualification shall be treated as beginning on the day on which the disqualification ceases to be suspended.
