Proceedings in chambers

Except in cases where it is otherwise expressly provided by any law, a Judge may sit in chambers at any time to hear and determine all matters brought before that Judge on summons or motion, and may direct that any motion be heard in open court or adjourned into court, if, in that Judge's discretion, that Judge considers it expedient that any matter be heard in court.
