Terms and conditions of appointment of members

Except as otherwise provided by this Part, an appointed member holds office for five years on terms and conditions determined by —
the Premier, in the case of an appointed member appointed under section 4(1)(c) or (e); or
the Leader of the Opposition, in the case of an appointed member appointed under section 4(1)(d) or (f).
An appointed member is eligible for re-appointment for one additional period of three years.
