Offences by officers, etc., of corporate bodies

Where an offence under this Act which has been committed by a company is proved to have been committed with the consent or connivance of, or to be attributable to any negligence on the part of, any director, manager, secretary or other officer of the company, such person as well as that company shall be deemed to have committed that offence and shall be liable to be proceeded against and punished accordingly.
