Any act done by an employee in the course of his employment shall be treated as done by his employer whether or not it was done with the employer's knowledge or approval.
In proceedings under this Law against an employer in respect of an act alleged to have been done by an employee in the course of the employee's employment, it is a defence for the employer to show that the employer took all reasonable steps to prevent the employee —
from doing the act; or
from doing any act of that description.
This section shall not apply to an offence under this Law.
