81. (1) The Commissioner may issue guidance to custody officers as to how to carry out their functions under this Act and to all police officers as to the information required to be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions under section 82.
The Commissioner may from time to time revise guidance issued under this section.
The Commissioner shall publish, in the Gazette and a local newspaper —
any guidance issued under this section, and
any revisions made to such guidance.
Guidance under this section may make different provision for different cases, circumstances or areas. Police Act (2021 Revision) Section 82 c Revised as at 31st December, 2020 Page 73
