Where any will or instrument inter vivos coming into effect after the 1st day of October, 1976 makes reference to a statute or law affecting distribution of a deceased’s estate it shall be construed as a reference to this Act and any such reference to statutory next-of-kin shall, unless the context otherwise requires, be construed as referring to the persons who would take beneficially on an intestacy under this Act.
