Ministers of religion ceasing to act to notify Registrar General

Every Marriage Officer who is a minister of religion acting for a congregation or having the local superintendence of several congregations shall, if he ceases so to act or to have such superintendence, forthwith notify the fact to the Registrar General.
It shall be lawful for any Marriage Officer to resign his appointment as such, and such resignation shall be gazetted, and shall take effect from the date of publication.
