Duties of Civil Registrars

Every Civil Registrar —
shall have an office to be approved by the Registrar General and shall keep safely in his office the Marriage Register Book entrusted to him as Civil Registrar;
shall make such periodical returns to the Registrar General relating to the duties performed by him in relation to this Law as may be required by rules to be made under this Law;
shall perform such other duties in relation to the execution of this Law as may be assigned to him by rules to be made under this Law.
